Methodology and structure

Research
I will use questionnaires to get public opinion as a form of primary research, this is essential into getting an idea of the social impact of graphic design in the beer industry.

Interviews and questions directed to industry leaders will give a viewpoint from a corperate side of the business. 

Secondary research using the internet (News pages, blogs, comments & discussions) will allow for an up to date discussion to be formed. The industry moves very rapidly and therefore I should not look at many sources that are of considerable age.

Theory
The theory which is used in the essay will touch upon branding, marketing via social media websites, the use of word of mouth campaigns and possibly semiotics. 

Practical
This will give essential image related references to the concept that graphic design does improve sales of a product that relies more on word of mouth and quality of product than a brand image to sell more and expand as a business.
