After researching and reading many articles, I have concluded that my dissertation must be titled along this line in order to reflect what I aim to find out.
The rise of the craft beer market over the past 5 years: Is there a direct link between the popularity of craft the beer market as a creative industrt and the use of creative branding?
This dissertation aims to shed light on why craft beer has become so popular to the point of it becoming mainstream and if graphic design has played a direct role due to it's synergy of being creative and ground breaking. I will also aim to discuss the impact it is having on larger breweries and why they are taking note of the SME's which have taken more market share than they expected.
Chapters
Possible chapters for the essay need to cover the basics and then specifics with qualifying survey results. My chapters a split to give a clear journey from the basics for any SMEs to the specific effect that graphic design has on my chosen niche topic, craft beer industry.
After looking at a couple of dissertations, I have also followed the structures that they have used, this may not be the case this year but it is worth getting an idea of what is expected academically.
